Chief Information Officer

Ty Smith, Chief Information Officer, is responsible for building the IT department and leading Healogics through the strategic planning and execution of system developments, upgrades and integrations. Ty supports all aspects of the business through the successful implementation of technology-enabled solutions. Ty joined Healogics in 2016 with more than 20 years of IT experience.

Prior to joining Healogics, Ty served as GE Healthcare’s Chief Information Officer for Global Application Management Services. He was responsible for leading efforts for application development, strategy, support and governance for over 1,000 applications. Ty also led the establishment of an IT Project Management Office to drive increased execution and business benefits. Prior to that role he served as Chief Information Officer for GE Power Services, where he championed a multi-year enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation in more than 70 countries, increasing business operational efficiency, employee productivity and improved financial controllership.

Ty earned his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Finance & Economics degree from New York University.
